ENVIRONMENT

THE BENEDICT FOUNDATION, as part of its commitment to preserving the environment, is encouraging the use of native plants in landscapes. Two flowering plants in particular, Coreopsis and Stokesia, that thrive in the hot, dry, sandy soil of the coastal Carolinas are our featured plants for the year 2010. We are encouraging the use of these two flowering plants and will be providing detailed information about their culture and availability, so please check back often for additional information.

Coriopsis Lanceolata Coeopsis Tinctoria Stokesia (perennail)
