Board Governance Seminars . The Benedict Foundation will sponsor its fifth in a series of four consecutive Board Governance Seminars to be held on four Saturday mornings, February 6, 13, 20 and 27, from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm at the foundation's center at 1013 E. Moore St., Southport. Fee for all four sessions is $45 per person and includes materials and light refreshments. For more information click here.

Yarn Sale. The Benedict Foundation will sponsor its second private, invitation only, Yarn Sale (that's YarN with an N) on Thursday, March 4, at the foundation's center at 1013 E. Moore St., Southport, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Included will be pre-packaged lots of yarn in well-known brands such as Patons, Beehive, Bucilla and many others in a variety of colors.
